School Year Activities
On weekday afternoons during the school year the Coralville Parks and Recreation Department offers organized games or activities for students in fifth through eighth grade at no charge.
Activities may include dodgeball, scatterball, volleyball, knockout, pool, or foosball. A monthly activity calendar is posted in the Coralville Recreation Center and at Northwest Junior High. Activities are subject to change without notice.

After School Arts
The After School Arts program offers introductions to various forms of artistic expression, including music, drama, and visual arts at no cost. Participants must sign in with full name and date of birth at every class.
Support for After School Arts is provided by the City of Coralville and the Iowa City Community School District.
Guitar Learn the basics of playing acoustic guitar in a small group setting. Participants should bring their own guitars if possible. Advanced registration is required. To register or to rent or borrow a guitar, contact Matt Hibbard at 319.248.1750.
Harmonica Lessons Local
blues legend BF Burt teaches harmonica lessons using the method he
developed to teach himself. Participants receive their own harmonica and
lesson book. Advance registration is required by contacting Matt Hibbard at 319.248.1750.
Drama Class Staff from City Circle Acting Company lead drama class Wednesdays at 3:30 pm in the Little Theater at Northwest Junior High.
