Sean McCarty
PGA Golf Professional

Sean McCarty is a Big Ten All American graduating from the University of Iowa in 1996.  He was inducted into the Iowa High School Golf Hall of Fame in 2008.  Sean is a certified PGA Golf Professional and has been at Brown Deer Golf Club since 2001.  He was named winner of the Iowa Section Player of the Year in 2007 through 2009.  Sean also qualified for the US Open in 2003.  Other tournaments Sean has won include Iowa Open 1997, 2005 and 2008, Waterloo Open 1998, and The Greater Cedar Rapids Open 2009.

Derek Birt

Assistant Golf Professional

Derek Birt is also an accomplished golfer.  He was named the Iowa Section Assistants Player of the Year in 2008.  Derek has been with Brown Deer since 2006 and has been an assistant pro in the Coralville area since 1999.  Derek brings a great attitude towards junior golfers and currently teaches many youth at Brown Deer throughout the season.

Tom Roskos
Course Superintendent

Tom has been with Brown Deer Golf Club since 1999 as the Golf Course Superintendent.  He has been in the golf industry since 1982 with stops in Austin Texas, Myrtle Beach South Carolina, & Atlanta Georgia.
