Medicare cardholders and passengers with senior / disabled passes from other transit systems are eligible to ride for free. A valid pass or Medicare card must be presented upon boarding.

*Senior (65 & over) & Disabled Pass: Free
Coralville residents only, who are over the age of 65 or disabled, can receive free transit at anytime. A Coralville elderly / disabled bus pass must be presented upon boarding.

*Visitors (65 & over) & Disabled Persons Without an Eligible Senior / Disabled Pass
Visitors who are over the age of 65 or disabled, please contact Coralville Transit at 319.248.1790 for an off-peak temporary pass.

*Notes passes honored by Iowa City Transit.

How to Receive a Free Pass

Individuals 65 years old and older must:
  • Present a current photo ID and proof of residency at Coralville City Hall, 1512 7th Street, to be issued a pass.
Persons with a disability must:
  1. Complete the top portion of the Disabled Bus Pass Program form**:
  2. Have their physician complete and sign the bottom, and
  3. Return it to Coralville City Hall with a current photo ID and proof of residency to be issued a pass.
