Pool Health Information
When to stay home
Pool chemicals kill most germs within minutes, but some live for days. Please stay home if you:

  • Have diarrhea
  • Have a fever
  • Have COVID-19

Tips for healthier swimming
The pool is only as clean as you are! Follow these tips for healthier swimming:

  • Stay out of the water if you have diarrhea.
  • Shower before you get into the water.
  • Don't pee or poop in the water.
  • Take kids on bathroom breaks or check diapers every hour. Change diapers away from the water—not on the pool deck, tables, or chairs. Baby changing tables are available in the locker rooms. Wash your hands after diaper changes and bathroom visits.
  • Don't swallow the water.
