In accordance with Monday's federal court ruling on April 18, 2022, striking down the federal mask mandate pertaining to public transportation, and subsequent guidance from the Transportation Security Administration, Coralville Transit users will no longer be required to wear a mask on public transit vehicles, at transit stops, or in the Coralville Transit Intermodal Facility.

Masks will remain available on public transit vehicles. While not required, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend the use of masks while using indoor public transportation, particularly if you feel ill or believe you could be infected with COVID-19.

The City of Coralville thanks Coralville Transit passengers for their compliance with the federal mask mandate throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
