The Planning and Zoning Commission meets on the first Wednesday of each month unless otherwise noted. Meetings are open to the public.
Visit the Coralville Fire Department, view fire trucks, talk with firefighters, and learn about fire prevention at the annual open house in honor of National Fire Prevention Week! The Coralville Fire Department will serve up chili/soup, cornbread, and cinnamon rolls; vegetarian option available.
On Monday, October 9, 2023, City of Coralville offices remain open, Coralville Transit is operating a normal schedule, and trash and recycling pickup continue as scheduled.
A Regular Meeting of the Coralville City Council is scheduled for the second and fourth Tuesday of the month. A work session follows the meeting.
Board of Adjustment Meetings are usually held on the third Monday of the month when necessary.
Coralville Police Station
Turn in unused, unwanted, or expired medication for free, safe disposal at the police station. (No needles, inhalers, liquids, or ointments will be accepted). Medications must be disposed of properly, and should not be thrown in the garbage or flushed down the toilet (unless the medicine has specific instructions to do so).
Coralville's city-wide Halloween trick-or-treating hours will be from 5:30 until 8:00 pm on October 31, 2023. If the weather is bad, use your own judgement; trick-or-treating will not be rescheduled if the weather doesn't cooperate.
Senior exercise for adults 55+ promotes increased strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. The class is designed specifically for those who wish to ease their way into fitness as well as those who want to maintain their current fitness level. Meets year-round Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays all year, except for holidays.

The Coralville Parks and Recreation Commission meets on the third Monday of the month (subject to change), with no meeting in February and August unless otherwise determined.
Coralville Public Library
All meetings of the Coralville Public Library Board of Trustees are open to the public.
